What You'll Do
Contract position to help cover bases while our current Growth Marketing Manager is on maternity leave.  We are a growing organization and there may be opportunities to continue on post-contract depending on organizational needs, your strengths and interests. 

This is a high-ownership role for someone who thrives at the intersection of strategy and execution. You will be raisin’s primary growth driver — building pipeline, shaping our market position, and ensuring our marketing compounds over time. Core responsibilities include continuing and strengthing the following areas: 

Brand & Thought Leadership
  • Define and publish raisin’s point of view on human-centred fundraising — a clear, opinionated thesis that differentiates us from legacy platforms and guides how we show up in the market.
  • Research and produce high-impact content, including a flagship industry report grounded in raisin’s donor and platform data.
  • Build and execute a distribution plan across owned, paid, and earned channels to grow brand visibility and establish raisin as a top voice in the Canadian nonprofit sector.

Demand Generation & Pipeline 
  • Own top-of-funnel growth — designing and running multi-channel campaigns (email, content, paid, events, partnerships) that generate qualified pipeline.
  • Establish a structured, data-driven campaign calendar with clear attribution, sales feedback loops, and a bias toward lead quality over volume.
  • Own and report on key growth metrics: MQL volume and quality, CAC, conversion rates, and marketing-influenced revenue.

Market Positioning & GTM 
  • Own raisin’s competitive positioning and messaging — ensuring consistency across marketing, sales, and customer success touchpoints.
  • Support GTM planning for new product initiatives and potential market expansion.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and benchmarks to keep raisin’s strategy sharp and responsive.

Collaboration & Operations
  • Work closely with the Sales Manager to align on ICP, lead quality, and pipeline health — treating revenue as a shared outcome.
  • Collaborate with Product and Customer Success to surface client stories and product moments worth amplifying.
  • Build lightweight but scalable marketing processes and playbooks that can grow with the team.
